reading order script note: EXAMINED AND DETERMINED NOT TO BE WRITING-SYSTEM-BOUND (V2.5). Previously scoped Jpan, transcribed from this module's own defining prose. That scope was wrong in kind: panel order follows the BINDING direction, and unflipped English-language editions preserve right-to-left panel order with Latin text in the balloons. The module's own sentence — the order "cannot be mirrored without inverting the meaning of every sequence built on it" — is the script-independent claim, and it is the one that matters. Whether panel order behaves this way in other right-to-left scripts (Arabic, Hebrew) has NOT been researched. Do not read this as a claim about them, and do not apply right-to-left order to a left-to-right binding.
